John W. Adkison, M.D. received his undergraduate degree from Whitman College in Walla Walla, his medical degree from the University of Washington in Seattle and completed two internships, one in medicine at Harvard University and one in surgery at the University of California in San Diego. He also completed the Orthopaedic Residency Program at the University of California in San Francisco. He then completed a Fellowship in Hand Surgery at the University of Edinburgh in Edinburgh, Scotland. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has a Certificate of Added Qualification for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Adkison has a general orthopaedic practice with an emphasis on surgery of the hand and upper extremity.
Robert N. Greene, M.D. received his undergraduate and medical degree from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. His comprehensive surgical internship was completed at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. He then completed his four year orthopedic residency at the University of Ottawa in Ottawa, Ontario followed by two years of fellowship subspecialty training for sports medicine and hip and knee replacement surgery. He is Canadian and American Board Certified and a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Greene has a general orthopedic practice with an emphasis on hip and knee replacement.
John J. Hwang, M.D. received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Rutgers University and his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery internship and Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Dr. Hwang has completed a hand surgery Fellowship program at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Hwang has a general orthopaedic practice with an emphasis on surgery of the hand and upper extremity.
Thomas C. Kennedy, M.D. received his undergraduate degree at Stanford University in Palo Alto, his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He completed two years of General Surgery internship followed by four years of Orthopaedic Residency at the Orthopaedic Residency Program at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Upon completion of his residency he was appointed Assistant Professor in the Sports Medicine section of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He then completed a Fellowship in Ilizarov techniques at Ospedale de Lecco in Lecco, Italy, before returning to Yakima. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow in the American Accademy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Kennedy has a general orthopaedic practice with an emphasis on sports medicine and knee and shoulder arthroscopy. He also treats leg length discrepancies and limb deformities.
George S. Liu, M.D. received his undergraduate degree from Tulane University School of Engineering in New Orleans and his medical degree at Harvard School of Medicine in Boston. His training was quite extensive to include: Harvard Research Fellow, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Internship in General Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Residency in Orthopaedic Surgery, Chief Resident of Orthopaedic Trauma Service at Massachusetts General Hospital and Chief Resident of Pediatric Orthopaedic Services at The Children's Hospital in Boston.
Todd B. Orvald, M.D. received his undergraduate degree from Duke University, his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College, in Philadelphia, PA, and completed the Orthopaedic Residency Program at Duke University. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Orvald has a general orthopaedic practice with an emphasis on spine surgery and joint replacement surgery.
Richard D. Roux, M.D. is an orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. Dr. Roux believes in a customized team approach to each patient's musculoskeletal condition(s). His treatment goal is to restore maximum function through comprehensive treatment. Dr Roux's interests include refinement of less invasive surgical techniques to minimize patient recovery time. His orthopaedic practice has considerable emphasis on surgery of the knee and shoulder. Dr. Roux received his undergraduate and Masters Degrees from Stanford University, his medical degree from the University of California at San Diego, and completed the Orthopaedic Residency Program at Harvard University. He completed a Fellowship in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard University and is Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American College of Sports Medicine. Dr. Roux is the head team physician for the Yakima Sunkings and Yakima Bears professional sports teams. He is chief orthopaedic consultant for the Central Washington University athletic teams.
Raymond P. Snyder, M.D. received his undergraduate degree from Washington State University in Pullman and his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed the St. Peter Family Practice Residency Program in Olympia followed by a Fellowship in Sports Medicine at Pacific Sports Medicine in Tacoma. Dr. Snyder is Board Certified in Family Practice and Sports Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine. Dr. Snyder's practice involves Sports and Musculoskeletal Medicine including Team Physician functions for the local area professional, college and high school teams.
James J. Haven, M.D. Emeritus, received his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University, his medical degree from Temple University, in Philadelphia, PA, and completed the Orthopaedic Residency Program at Mayo Clinic. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.

Shane A. Sigler, PA-C attended Whittier College then transferred to the University of Puget Sound where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and as a Certified Athletic Trainer. After working in Tacoma and Yakima for several years as an Athletic Trainer, Mr. Sigler entered and graduated from the University of Washington Medex Physician Assistant Program with a Bachelor of Clinical Health Sciences. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the National Athletic Trainers Association. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and National Athletic Trainers Association. He is an active member of the Yakima Valley Sports Medicine Association and the National Ski Patrol. Mr. Sigler assists Dr. Kennedy in his orthopaedic practice.
